another of his hugely successful Golf "Society" days at Channels Golf Club http://www.channelsgolf.co.uk/ on May 21st 2010
The
day will run in the following format:
Coffee
& Bacon rolls from 8 am to 9 am
A reverse Waltz team competition on the Belsteads
9 hole course [3218 yards], first tee off 9.am.
A
reverse Waltz is the best 4 scores [Stableford handicaps used] are recorded on hole 1
the best 3 on hole 2, the best 2 on hole 3 and only the best
score on hole 4, this is repeated across all 9 holes with all
4 scores counting on hole 9.
The team with the best total wins!!
Ham Egg and Chips will be served in the bar / on the terrace on a rolling basis across lunch time.
There will then be a team and individual Stableford / handicap 18 hole Championship around
the Championship course [6300 yards] at Channels which
is an absolutely beautiful course and will be in peak condition around May 2010.
First tee 12.30 am.
This will cost each player just £50.00
for the whole day, which includes breakfast 27 holes of golf & lunch
Places are limited to 14 players
of 4 players per team - 56 players total.
